La Torre is a very beautiful old stone building, just recently very well restored, situated in breathtaking panoramic location amidst the charming private property with beautiful terrace. Here you can enjoy undisturbed “dolce far niente”, enjoy the view down on the lake or the sea, get the desired suntan on the private “prato” and then dive into the pool that lies just a few steps below. From the terrace mentioned above one has access to the house: you get into a very airy, bright and spacious living/eating room with an elegant and comfortable kitchen section. Next to this room there is, in L-shape, the living area, dominated by the large old arch window.
From here you can enjoy the view down on the rolling hills all over the impressive Tuscan landscape. If you are lucky and have a clear view that day you will see the leaning tower at Pisa !
On the same level there is one of the three bedrooms (2 single beds). A very nice stone staircase with beautiful wrought iron separation from the lower floor leads downstairs. Here each of the two bedrooms has its own exit to the terrace. The bigger one (double bed) has its own large and charming en suite bath room with tub, nicely coloured in soft antique yellow. The second bath room (shower) has access directly from the corridor.
The furniture harmoniously matches the stile of the house: modern where it should offer comfort, antique where special accents were to be set. The works of two artists give the house a special touch.Belonging to the house there is a pool in splendid panoramic location, used also by the guests of the neighbouring house (4 people). The area around the houses and the pool is somewhat divided by a difference in elevation thus leading to a kind of natural division between the different houses. Each of the two houses has its own and separate space at the pool using the different levels mentioned, both equipped with sun lounges and chairs.
