Rush Cottage is a charming cottage built around 1912 in the heart of the Lombardi Vineyard on the warm north facing slopes of the Te Mata hills in Havelock North, Hawkes Bay. While retaining much of its original rustic charm with stone floors, open fires and plaster walls it has also been extensively refurbished with highest quality fabrics and linens, modern appliances, luxurious bedding, plateware and bathroom ammenities. It is privately and quietly set in the middle of the merlot block and looks right out across the beautiful province of Hawkes Bay in the heart of "Wine Country'.As with all the properties in the Lombardi Luxury Retreat Collection, Rush Cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Meals and maid service can be supplied if required as can fishing, golf, winery tours or farm visits, however many of our guests simply want to be left alone to make themselves at home and explore at their own pace.
