Casa Tropical Tankah, is a romantic, beachfront villa, located on 1/2 acre with 82' ocean frontage, Tankah, Mexico, a 1 hour drive south of Cancun airport. We have great views with barrier reef just offshore, and a cenote up the beach for diving, snorkeling or swimming, jungle style. Our villa is in a great location, being within driving distance to the Cancun airport (1 hr.), Playa del Carmen (you take the boat to Cozumel from there) Xel-ha, Tulum and Coba ruins, and the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve starts just south of the Tulum ruins. You can also drive to several major archeological sites for a day trip. We have wonderful cenotes to swim, snorkel or dive in and the beaches are great. The town of Tulum ( 5 miles south) has restaurants, money exchanges, bus station, fax/phone/e-mail services, grocery stores, pharmacy, doctors office. Just about any thing you would need during your vacation can be found here. Casa Tropical is tiled throughout with fully equipped kitchenettes, tiled baths, ceiling fans and Haitian artwork throughout. Hammocks, lounge chairs, books, radio/cassette player provided. Property manager, twice-weekly maid service, gardener. Two very separate and private units, sleeps 2 in each. Our 1st floor unit has a palapa-roofed porch with table and chairs for dining alfresco, private hammock palapa, and stained glass window. Great view of ocean and gardens. The 2nd floor unit also has a small balcony off the bedroom plus and a 14' x 29' palapa covered rooftop patio with built-in seating, hammocks, and bar with sink. Wonderful views and ocean breeze. Our villa was designed with privacy in mind. Each unit has it own private entrance on opposite sides of our villa, it's own outside shower for rinsing, and private porch, roof top patio or hammock palapa (1st floor unit). There are also lounge chairs on the beach. Our 1/2 acre property is landscaped with plenty of places to relax in the sun or shade. A confirmation, directions and travel tips are sent when payment or deposit is received. Check in - 2:00p.m. Check out by 10:30 a.m.
