Sunset Beach was voted the “Best beach on the East Coast” by Duke University. This luxurious resort vacation condo, located within one mile of the beach, is on the 10th fairway of the Dan Maples Golf Course.
Sunset Beach is only three miles long. The island is residential in nature. Some of the best bargains in vacation rental are here; and the visitor who wants a quiet coastal place will do very well to book a place here. As with all of the beaches on the southern coast, quality golfing is available on the mainland. For fishing enthusiasts, there is a full-service pier. Sunset Beach offers a special delight -- a walk to Bird Island at low tide. Bird Island is privately owned, and is completely untouched by development. There are 22 species of fish in the surf, and even more in the fertile waters in and around the Intracoastal Waterway. Six area piers will take you farther into the surf, while head boats and charter boats are available for deep-sea fishing. Sunset Beach and the South Brunswick Islands have much more than golf, fishing, and beautiful clean wide beaches. They also are within easy reach of restaurants, shopping, entertainment, airports, and cultural and educational opportunities -- everything you would expect to find in a sophisticated cosmopolitan area. The gracious seaport city of Wilmington and the resort city of Myrtle Beach are within easy driving distance. We have multiple 1, 2, 3, & 4 bedroom units which will accommodate 1 to 12 persons. These units range in size from the 400 sq. ft. minisuite to the 2200 sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 4 bath condo. All the amenities of home are available for your pleasure. There are three on-site championship golf courses (Dan Maples, Willard Byrd, and Rees Jones), plus another 30 courses within a 15-minute drive. The condo is located one mile from the beach (a five-minute drive door to door), 30 miles north of Myrtle Beach, and 50 miles south of Wilmington, NC. Everything you need for an enjoyable vacation is on-site or within a short drive, including a swimming pool, sauna, spa, tennis, golf galore, a workout room, 2000 acres of nature, and on-site restaurants. The climate is always pleasant. The average temperature ranges from an average low of 54 in January, to a high of 82 in July. Sunset Beach is easily accessible via Interstate 95, Highway 17, and Interstate 40. Please note: You must be at least 25 years old to rent this condo. Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 11:00 AM. Reservations/Cancellation information: Rates include all applicable taxes. A 30% deposit ($100 minimum)is required to confirm all reservations. Personal checks (preferred), Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Sheets, blankets, bath towels, hand towels, and wash clothes are furnished. In addition, the many staple items and condiments are at the condo. Many books and movies are also on-site for your reading and viewing pleasure. Movie titles range from "Gone with the Wind" to "Forest Gump" to "Pretty Women" to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Books titles range from "Marilyn Monroe" by Norman Mailer to "The Great Train Robbery" to "Wildflowers of the East," and many many more. A number of cookbooks are available for those evenings when you feel like preparing yor own meal, and dining in. There is also a library at the resort containing approximately 3000 titles. A restaurant guide is available with menus from many of the local restaurants. The area has restaurants featuring the following cuisines: Thai, Indian, Chinese, Greek, Italian, German, Japanese, Jamaican, French, and Australian. Any palate can be satisfied. All major restaurant chains are also available including Subway, Fuddruckers, McDonald's, Hardee's, Outback Steakhouse, K&W Cafeteria, Jackaroo's, and Bob Evans. Unlimited local calls are included with your rental. Long distance calls should be charged to a calling card; otherwise, billing will be reversed to your Visa or MasterCard credit card. |
