What is the best way to search for a particular type of property?
To find exactly what you want in a property first go to the geographic location of your choice. Then at the top of the location menu page you will see a link "To do a detailed search within ______, click here." After you click on the link you will see a Big Blue Box. Check off the boxes that pertain to the property you want, then click "search". Don't select so many choices that no property could measure up. Instead select the most important features you want and then browse through the choices.
Where on your web site can I find discounts on vacations?
To find discount vacations and other promotions visit our Special Promotions Page. There you will find all kinds of deals, and they link directly to the corresponding property listing.
I have found a property that I am interested in. How do I contact the property owner or manager to get more information and to check availability?
All of the properties listed on our web site have a direct email link near the bottom of the listing page. Just click on the link and fill out the form with any questions you have. Be sure to put in your correct email address in order to receive a reply.
I have found a property that I like, But I will also need air tickets, car rental, and I would like to pre-arrange some excursions during our vacation. Do you provide for these services? How can I find a Bed & Breakfast on your web site? I Have some questions that I would like answered that do not appear on your FAQ page. How can I contact you to get answers? How can I be sure the vacation property is as good as it seems in the property listing?
I have found a property I like, but the rates are listed in a foreign currency. How do I know how much it will cost in US Dollars? How do I list my property with World Wide Villas? A Dynamic link listing is our most economical listing. $39.95 for a one year term. This type of property listing appears in our geographic menus together with our other property listings. It may contain up to 4 images and will link to a page of your choice on the internet. There is a limited amount of text possible in the link text field. This type of listing will not list all the features and amenities and there will be no other area for descriptive text on the listing page. This type of listing will not be individually submitted to search engines as our more expensive listing types will. There will also be a direct email link on the listing page for customer inquiries. The main function of this type of listing is to direct visitors from this page to your own existing web page on the internet.
For a more comprehensive listing, maximum exposure of a luxury property, or to show multiple properties we offer our Mini Web Site listings for $249.95/ yr.. These are our Premium Listings which will remain in the top five menu positions while all other listings will rotate positions below. I am a registered property owner. How do I access my owners administration page? How do I edit the text on my property listing? How do I change my password? I am a registered property owner with a listing on World Wide Villas. How do I add photos to the listing? After you have completed these steps you will need to return to your owners administration page to choose a page template and select the locations of the photos on the listing page. This is very easy to do with drop down menu selections.

Your Text and Images listing may contain up to 6 photos. This listing
currently has 6 photos uploaded. You may not upload any additional photos now until
you first remove some of the photos. To remove current photos, "click here". After you
click there the image editor page opens. Select which image you want to remove and
click on the highlighted text "Change Photo Layout". On the page that opens you may
change each photo you want removed to say Blank in the drop down image selection
box. Then click on "Confirm This Template". Your listing page will appear with blank spaces where you have selected Blank. Click on "Owners Administration Home". Then click on "Add/Repace Photos" then go to where is says " To remove current photos, click here." After you click there you will again be on the Image Manager page. Click on the Highlighted "Delete" After you have deleted the image click on "Return to Image Upload" Then just follow the normal Image upload procedures.
My property listing is about to expire. How can I renew my listing? I have a Text Only property listing. How do I upgrade to a Text & Photos listing? How do I add keywords to my property listing page? How do I add an availability calendar to my property listing? How do I add a promotion to the Special Promotions page?
To arrange for these services you can either click on the link near the bottom of the listing that says " click here to book a Flight and Car rental". This will take you to a web reservations page where you can book live online. Another alternative is to go to our Vacation Links page and click on one of our Travel Agent links. Our affiliated company Star Struck Travel can make all your travel arrangements. You can also click on the ShoreTrips link to arrange your own excursions before you arrive at your destination. By doing this you can make arrangements in a relaxed no rush way and be sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. 
To find all Bed & Breakfast accommodations listed in a particular location, first go to the menu page for that location. Then click the link to do a detailed search. In the large blue box put a check mark next to Bed & Breakfast and submit. Any B&B properties listed in that area will appear. Then browse through all that appear to find one that is right for you.

World Wide Villas is not responsible for the content of its Subscribers listings. But, we want you to have a great vacation and use our web site again to find your next vacation. So we will try to give you some tips to get the best vacation rental you can. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you need of the property owner, to make you feel comfortable about renting the property. Make sure you can see photos of the property, especially if it is only a text listing. Here are some typical vacation rental questions you should ask.
Is the deposit refundable? Under what circumstances will the deposit not be refunded? When is the balance on the rental due? What is the cancellation policy? Is there direct telephone dialing and is long distance accessable?
If we arrive late in the day, after the office is closed, how will we get the key? Which credit cards do you accept for payment? What other fees or charges are there in addition to the rent? Are bed and bath linens and toiletries provided? What level is the property on, first, second, third floor? Is there an elevator? Are there parking facilities?
Is the property we are renting the same one actually shown in the photos of the property listing? What are the bed types and sleeping arrangement?
Is the property directly on the beach? or How far away is the beach? or ski slope? or Disney World, or other special reason for renting the property.
I'm sure there are other questions, but this should give you a pretty good idea of the most essential information. So go have a great vacation!
We recommend to our subscibers that they list rates in Dollars, but they don't always listen to us. You should also try to find out other information about your foreign destination before you go there. You can do this by checking out the destination links on our vacation links page too.
To register your property please go to our home page at http://www.worldwidevillas.com and click on "Submit your Property" on the page that appears there is a disclaimer box. Immediately beneath the box it says "click here to continue". Do not enter your email or a password here, just leave those lines blank and click on "click here to continue". You will be taken to a registration form. Please fill out the form including your email. When it is complete click "Submit". A password will be emailed to you with instructions on how to login. To login to your owners administration page please go to our home page and click on the link "Administer your Listing", or click on this link to go there now: Owners Log in here
Then log in with your e-mail exactly as you registered it with World Wide Villas. Use capital letters, and lower case letters if you used them when you registered. Log in & passwords are case sensitive. Make sure you do not substitute a letter l for a number 1 , or a letter o for a number 0, etc., etc..
If you can't remember your password just enter what you think is the password, if it is incorrect a window will pop up with the option of having a new password sent to your registered e-mail address instantly.

To change the text on your listing just go to your owners administration page at
To change your password log in to your owners administration page and go down the page to where it says " Personal Information Manager:" click on " Change Personal Information". On the page that appears you may change all your personal information including your password.
To add photos to your listing: You have four options for getting these photos on the site: If you have an existing web site with photos, we can copy them with your permission. If you have your photos in JPEG or GIF format, you may upload them via the web, using our online setup from your owners administration page.
If your photos have been scanned, but you cannot save them in JPEG or GIF
format, you may email them as attachments to us. You may mail hard copies to us, and we will scan them.

To upload images on our web site from your owners administration page click on
"Add/Replace Photos" On the page that appears there is a box to select how many photos to upload. Make your selection then click "continue". On the next page that appears there are spaces to enter the file names of your images or use the browse feature to find them on your computer and select them to upload. After you have done this for each image file click "continue". (Please note these must be files of type GIF or JPEG. The images cannot be
larger than 600 pixels in width, as images of this size would slow the load speed and detract from the aesthetics of your listings pages.)
Once you have done this the next page will tell you whether or not your images have been successfully uploaded. If they have not been accepted you will get an error message. If they have been accepted you will see links to click on each photo to view before actually placing the images on your listing page.
From your owners administration page click on "Add/Replace Photos".
On the Image Upload Page follow these instructions:
To renew your listing please go to http://www.worldwidevillas.com/owners/ your owners administration page, and log in with your registered email and password. Than click on "Renew now". Then just submit the renewal form. Once you have renewed your listing you
may return to your owners main administration page to upgrade your listing type if you wish.
From your owners administration page, To upgrade your listing please click on "Upgrade Listing Type" Then just choose the type of listing you would like from the drop down menu. Then just select the method of payment.
Payment by credit card or echeck will give you the option of immediately up loading your images.
Payment by check will require waiting to upload your images until we receive your payment.
Adding Keywords to your listing page. To add keywords to your listing page please go to and click on "Edit Text". Near the bottom of the next page you will find the words Meta Tags. Immediately below this are two areas to enter text. You may enter keywords in one and a brief description in the other.
To add an availability calendar or to edit one, please go to your owners administration page and click on the link "Edit Calendar". On the next page you will be able to edit your existing calendar, or if you don't have one you can add one here.
You can add a special promotion from your owners administration page. Just log in with your registered email and password. Then go down the page to where it says "You may administer the following listing(s):" In this area there is a heading called "Special Promotions Page -", Just click on "List Your Property." A new window will open where you may enter the details of your promotion. After you have entered the text and dates of your promotion click on Submit. Please be sure to keep your promotions current. Your promotion will link from the Promotions page directly to your property listing.
